Discreet and reliable security. Their design concerns cases of windows, where there is no need to remove the security bars, in order to open the window. The detachable security bars are ideal for securing frameless windows or for those that do have casements but require additional reinforcement and security. They are installed outside the window frames or between the frame that bears the glass and the casements or shutters.
Technical features
The side rectangular incisions are of an aluminium profile of 44x50 mm, has internal reinforcement of galvanized steel shaped with dimensions(27mm X 40mm X 27mm) while the bars are secured with special lock system.
and the inside of the profile has a special shape that has high tensile in strength and tapping. The horizontal bars enclose massif steel of Φ 18 mm and externally they are surrounded by an aluminium pipe of a 26 mm diameter and 2 mm thick.
Operation instructions
1. We place one side of the security bar in the hole of the key bearing case and we secure it
2. We place the other side towards the case that doesn't have a lock and we secure it as well
3. We place the key with the incisions vertically facing down in the hole of the lock and we rotate by 180Ξ’Β, thus locking the bars
To remove the bars, we follow the exact reverse procedure.
Maintenance directions
The VIOMETALOUMIN folding products should be cleaned regularly and the moving parts should be lubricated with an oil spray twice a year.
For their cleaning you must use:
1. A brush with soft hair, with which you shall clean the dusty surfaces.
2. With a piece of cloth and a solution of soft soap and water, you thoroughly wash the surfaces, in order to remove any dirt, air pollutants and particles stuck on the metal surfaces. This process should take place 2-3 times a year.
3. The scroll wheel, the lock and the moving parts of the window panel should be lubricated twice a year.
4. In the coastal areas, the systems require a more frequent cleaning and lubrication up to 5-6 times a year.
